Project objectives

  • O1. Development of the hardware sensors platform of the SMARTSENSE demonstrator as part of the system that will effectively measure the urban air pollution and transmit the data to the central air pollution monitoring application;
  • O2. Design and implementation of the Air Pollution Monitoring application (APM) for enabling data acquisition from the demonstrator sensors platform;
  • O3. Design and implementation of First responder’s – alert emergency services as well as any messages for citizens are transmitted from first responders application to APM server application;
  • O4. Design and implementation of mobile application for citizens to inform and warn them about air pollution events and to obtain feedback from citizens;
  • O5. Design and implementation of a web platform for urban researchers as well as administration and citizens;
